Out of Time – Tokyo, Seen Slowly

This roll isn’t really about Tokyo moving — it’s about it standing still for a second. The Leica slows me down. Metropolis strips away the color until everything feels like a memory. There wasn’t a plan with this roll. I just walked, watched, and let things happen. Looking back, there’s a pattern — small moments, people moving through space, the way light hangs on something ordinary just long enough for you to notice.
Phone Booth

Someone ending a call — that’s it.
No rain, no neon, just a person in a glass box that probably doesn’t get used much anymore.
But it still sits there, same as ever.
Sometimes that’s all a photo needs - something that doesn’t try too hard.
Holding Hands

I saw this and had to get it.
Two people crossing the street, hands meeting right in the middle of the frame.
It happened fast — no time to think, just a reflex.
No setup, no story — just timing and a little bit of luck.
Long Shadow Crosswalk

The light did all the work here.It was late, the sun low enough to stretch everything across the street. People walking different directions — none of them paying attention to me.I like when a frame just exists like that, no setup, no second chance.
Couple Sitting, Another Walking

There’s a rhythm in this one I didn’t see until after.
One couple resting, another passing behind them.
It’s the kind of shot that says more about the pace of the city than any skyline.
Quiet but alive — like Tokyo when you actually slow down and listen.d l
Flower Close-Up

A small flower by the side of the street — easy to miss.
After everything else, it just felt right to stop here.
Nothing dramatic, just something living in all the gray.
Metropolis doesn’t show Tokyo how it looks — it shows how it feels when the noise fades. Muted tones, soft light, and moments that sit somewhere between now and then. This roll ended up being a reminder for me: You don’t need a big story, or perfect conditions. You just need to be out there, paying attention, when something ordinary turns into a photograph.
